Organizational support and turnover intention in the Spanish IT consultancy sector: Role of organizational commitment

This paper focuses on the IT consultancy sector, an area of strategic importance within Spanish economy and its mains aim is to analyse impact that support perceived by employees has their organizational commitment turnover intention.We distributed a questionnaire with five-point Likert scale among 1000 professionals from various companies in sector Spain. The data collected were analysed using PLS-SEM (partial least squares structural equation modelling) technique SmartPLS software. analysis demonstrates negative relationship between employees’ perception intention, i.e., greater received, lower intention leave company. In where had higher degree commitment, company decreased even extent.This study shows both are important factors influence intention; therefore, organizations need take these aspects into consideration reduce staff rates.
